Panama City (Sun City Harbor Marina) is our next stop along the Intracoastal Waterway. We pass thru Choctawhatchee Bay and pass under bridges. Our Garmin tells us what the bridge height is to make sure we will fit. There are so many factors to keep track of with boating! We see the famous zoo of stuffed animals on the shoreline and also catch a dolphin playing in our wake. Sun City Harbor is rebuilding after storm damage and is beautiful but doesn’t have pump-out facility yet. We decide to get some exercise and walk 5 miles one way to get to a West Marine store. There are a couple rest points along the way for lunch and drink/snack. That was enough walking for us and we uber back to the marina. A weather front moves through and brings high winds. Even tied securely to our dock we are bouncing around in the waves. They have space for us to stay longer and we gladly take that option rather than braving the waves and windy conditions.
